Data Deletion Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This policy explains how to ask TECHNIA to delete your personal data, what gets deleted, how long it takes, and the narrow cases where we are required to keep something. It covers data held on our website, in the TECHNIA Business Suite, and data we receive through connected services such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

1. How to request deletion

Email privacy@techniasolutions.co from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my data". You can also use the request form at techniasolutions.co/request-delete-user-data.

Tell us which account the request concerns. If you used Facebook Login, say so and include the page or account name, so we can find the right records.

We may ask one question to confirm you control the account. We ask for no more than that, and we never ask for a password.

2. What we delete

  • Your profile and login details, including any identifier issued by Facebook Login.
  • Access tokens stored for your connected Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, WhatsApp Business numbers and ad accounts.
  • Leads, conversations, comments and messages received through those connected accounts.
  • Contact details, notes and activity history attached to your records.
  • Any files or images you uploaded.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account once the request has been carried out.

3. How long it takes

We acknowledge every request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days.

Copies held in encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire, within 90 days of the request. They are never restored into live systems in the meantime.

4. Disconnecting a Meta account

You can disconnect a Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number at any time from Meta → Channels inside the product, without deleting your whole account. Disconnecting stops new leads and messages arriving and removes the stored access token.

You can also remove TECHNIA's access from Facebook directly, under Settings → Business Integrations. Doing so revokes our token immediately.

Disconnecting on its own does not erase data already received. To have that deleted as well, send a deletion request as described above.

5. Data we are required to keep

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because the law requires us to keep them:

  • Invoices, payments and accounting records, retained for the period required by tax law in the country of the contracting entity.
  • Records needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, retained until that matter is resolved.
  • A minimal record of the deletion request itself, so we can show it was honoured.

Anything retained on these grounds is kept only for that purpose, is not used for marketing or analytics, and is deleted once the obligation ends.

6. If your organisation owns the account

When you use TECHNIA through an employer or another organisation, that organisation controls the data and we process it on their instructions. We will forward your request to them and tell you we have done so.

In that case the organisation decides the outcome, and you may need to raise the request with them directly.

7. Your other rights

Besides deletion, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or object to a particular use. Write to privacy@techniasolutions.co.

If you believe we have handled your request badly, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Contact

TECHNIA Solutions — privacy@techniasolutions.co.

We answer data protection enquiries at this address and nowhere else, so please do not send them through social media.
